OHCOW Toronto offers educational forum on asbestos, workplace stress

Helping workers identify and address two major workplace hazards—stress and asbestos—is the focus of an upcoming educational forum in Toronto.

Sponsored by the Toronto Occupational Health Clinics for Ontario Workers (OHCOW) Local Advisory Committee, the half-day forum will begin with a plenary session on OHCOW’s workplace stress smart phone app. Participants can choose from one of two parallel sessions on asbestos awareness and workplace stress. Both sessions will focus on identifying hazards, their health impacts and actions to address them.
